Maria Nuñez is an Administrative Assistant at dD+P. Her skills include studio-wide administrative support, acting as dD+P’s point person at reception, managing office supply inventory, organizing continuing education courses, and assisting the Accounting Department.
Tamara Vlaisavljević has extensive experience working with the NYC SCA on the design and construction of PreK-12 projects, ranging from small renovations to large-scale new construction. Her international work experience informs her architectural perspective when approaching different challenges across a broad swath of service lines. Tamara’s passion for urban infrastructure and the role it plays in shaping communities has been a driving force in her career.
Steven Woo works on a variety of large-scale transit and commercial projects at dD+P, participating in all phases from design to construction. His previous experience includes renovations and new construction of residential and mixed-use projects. Steven is experienced in construction administration, feasibility studies, and code analysis.
Sta'Kyi is an Accounting Manager at dD+P. His role entails billing all projects, ranging from the NYC SCA to the MTA/NYCT. His expertise is being able to be a jack of all trades, with a focus on forecasting budgets so a project is fully billed throughout.
Badal Thakker is a Designer and Field Representative at dD+P. He manages educational projects from design through the construction phase, including construction management and developing sustainable design solutions to achieve the highest energy efficiency. Badal is also a member of dD+P's Studio Events Committee and helps plan annual team-building events.
Luca Santana is the Visual & Digital Design Lead at dD+P. Their expertise spans graphic design, web design, brand identity, and visual storytelling. Luca is a part of dD+P's Innovation Group and EDI+B Initiative.
Alan Chan is an Associate at dD+P. He leads dD+P’s Innovation Group and co-chairs the EDI+B Initiative. With degrees in both architecture and urban planning, his diverse portfolio encompasses civic projects that range from urban-scale designs to impactful community projects across New York City. He has presented his work at International Placemaking Week, The Architectural League of New York’s Current Work series, and the APA National Planning Conference. Alan is deeply passionate about community-centered solutions. By merging place-based insights with creative approaches, Alan aims to create projects that not only resonate with but also enrich the communities they serve.
Brian Ravinsky is a Designer and Project Manager with experience working on a diverse range of projects, bringing with him degrees in both architecture and urban planning. His professional expertise meets at the intersection of architecture and urban design, with extensive experience in construction administration for open space and building projects. His experience includes digital modeling, research, planning, renderings, drawings, and reports for a variety of new and renovation-based projects in the public realm including the Northeast Maglev, New York Aquarium, MTA District 9 Police Facility, and Four Stations on the Astoria Line.
Jue Wang has worked on a variety of public sector projects, primarily in the fields of infrastructure and education. These projects include station renewals on the Jamaica Line (BMT), 59th Street-Columbus Circle Station Elevator Addition, MTA/NYCT small business mentoring programs, and public schools such as PS 155Q, PS 191Q, and PS 182X. Jue believes architecture plays an important role in building stronger communities and brings that same belief to dD+P's studio culture as an adaptable team player experienced in design and graphic visualization.
Masahiro Shinohara makes CAD drawings and is an expert at producing solid sets of construction documents, coordinating with structural and MEP consultants, and troubleshooting potential quality assurance issues. His project experience includes work for the Port Authority of NY & NJ, MTA/NYCT, US Army Corps of Engineers, NYC SCA, and Manhattan Beer Distributors.
Richard Morgan has broad experience with numerous project types, both domestic and international, including extensive experience working on PreK-12 and transit projects in New York City and the tri-state area. Prior to joining dD+P, Richard worked on multiple public school additions and new buildings, as well as commercial and multi-family residential buildings. Through his past work and current project responsibilities at dD+P, Richard brings significant expertise in agency and consultant team coordination, project delivery, project filings, and code compliance.
Sherif Awad is an Associate at dD+P and works on the Education Team. He manages various public school project types from design through the construction phase and is deeply invested in sustainability and workflows. Sherif leads dD+P's "Share a Thought" studio series, a bi-weekly discussion-based forum that is designed to advance the firm's understanding of various topics from innovative building materials to code compliance.
Lukas Argyros is a licensed architect in New York State and has a specialized background in construction management for projects ranging from government institutions to residential and commercial developments. Since beginning work with dD+P, Lukas has been working primarily with the NYC SCA, managing the construction administration of various projects. In addition to his work with dD+P, he has been serving as an Adjunct Professor at the New York Institute of Technology since 2009. Lukas is a member of the firm’s Green Team and is active in the research and implementation of sustainable technologies.
As a native New Yorker and an Associate at dD+P, Carly Epler has led and worked on projects for cultural, commercial, and government clients. She holds a master’s degree in architecture from Tulane University and is a licensed architect in New York. Carly has managed and worked on projects including commercial, healthcare, landscape, restoration, transportation, and interiors. Her recently completed projects include the Javits Center Medical Station & Temporary Field Hospital and the Clifton Railcar Maintenance Shop. Carly is an artist and brings her practice to the studio from the design development and construction phases to mentoring and encouraging new studio members to harness their creativity.
James Childress is an Accounting and HR Manager at dD+P. His work spans maintaining the financial and accounting functions of the studio and being an advocate for all studio members. James' work includes interactions with all facets of studio culture from planning dD+P's annual events to managing employee benefits.
Cindy Chan’s strong artistic background and keen attention to detail are attributed to her success in the positions of Designer, BIM Manager, and member of dD+P’s Green Team. She has played an instrumental role on recent NYC SCA projects, particularly as BIM Coordinator for PS 256Q, where she closely communicated with various disciplines in preparation of the project design model. She is also Chair of dD+P’s ACE Mentor Program.
