Saw Hla Nwe is a Designer on dD+P’s Education Team. She is passionate about sustainability and is a LEED Green Associate. Her responsibilities include preparing design documents for public school projects at various stages. She enjoys creating functional spaces, solving spatial challenges, and harmonizing creativity with practicality to enhance the built environment.
Saad Khan is a Junior Designer and works on dD+P's Transit Team, preparing drawings and contributing to design. He is passionate about contributing realistic and human-friendly solutions to help make the public sphere more accessible. He is currently working to obtain New York licensure.
Masahiro Shinohara produces CAD drawings and is an expert at producing solid sets of construction documents, coordinating with Structural and MEP consultants, and troubleshooting potential quality assurance issues. His project experience includes work for the Port Authority of NY & NJ, NYC Transit, US Army Corps of Engineers, Manhattan Beer Distributors, and SCA CIP projects.

His experience includes digital modeling, research, planning, renderings, drawings, and reports for a variety of new and renovation-based projects in the public realm including Northeast Maglev, Four Stations on the Astoria Line, New York Aquarium, and the MTA District 9 Police Facility.
Maria Nuñez is an Administrative Assistant at dD+P. Her skills include studio-wide administrative support including acting as dD+P’s point person at reception, managing office supply inventory, organizing continuing education courses, and assisting the accounting department.
Tamara has extensive experience working with the NYC School Construction Authority (SCA) on the design and construction of K-12 projects, ranging from small renovations to large-scale new construction. Her international work experience informs her architectural perspective when approaching different challenges across a broad swath of service lines. Tamara’s passion for urban infrastructure and the role it plays in shaping communities has been a driving force in her career.
Alan is a Designer at dD+P. He leads dD+P’s Innovation Group and co-chairs the EDI+B Initiative. With degrees in both Architecture and Urban Planning, his diverse portfolio encompasses civic projects that range from urban-scale designs to impactful community projects across New York City. He has presented his work at International Placemaking Week, The Architectural League of New York’s Current Work series, and the APA National Planning Conference. Alan is deeply passionate about community-centered solutions. By merging place-based insights with creative approaches, Alan aims to create projects that not only resonate with but also enrich the communities they serve.
