Rose Associates commissioned di Domenico + Partners to design the entrance to the Hoyt-Schermerhorn station in downtown Brooklyn. The Northeastern exit had been temporarily closed since April of 2017 due to the renovation. Last year the station was used by over 3.25 Million passengers traveling the A, C, and G lines. Now that renovations are complete, passengers can access the station, located on the corner of Hoyt and Schermerhorn streets, to find an all-new entry highlighting wider stairwells and an elevator.
