Project Description
As part of the new addition to Cornell University’s Fernow Hall, dD+P reshaped the surrounding landscape, adhering to the studio’s vision of maintaining a sustainable and Green facility.
A rain garden with self-sustaining vegetation was implemented to mitigate stormwater runoff, and a roof garden terrace was implemented which allows students to experiment with xeriscape and sustainable plantings, contributing to Fernow Hall’s standing as LEED Gold Certified.
